Sicilian dining, quietly reimagined
We cook the Sicily we remember: sun on stone, salt in the air, a table that runs long into the evening. Every plate is an old recipe held to a warmer, quieter light.
Our name is the lumìa, the sweet citrus of the island's groves, softer than a lemon, all fragrance and light. It is how we like to cook: familiar, gentle, unmistakably Sicilian.
Stone walls, low candles, a terrace open to the sea air. Stay late. Here the evening is meant to be unhurried, and the last glass is always the slowest.
Our list leans into Nero d'Avola and the high, ashy vineyards of Etna: bottles with sun and mineral in equal measure, poured to the plate rather than the label.
Everything beside the glass is chosen the same morning: bitter greens, almonds, vine tomatoes, and the citrus that gives us our name.
Tell us the shape of your evening and we will keep a table by the candles.
